GeoGuessr Lite is a free geography game that puts you inside real Google Street View photos from cities around the world. Study the photo carefully — look for signs, architecture styles, vegetation, vehicles, and any other clues about the location. Then drop a pin on the world map where you think the photo was taken.
Your score is based on distance — the closer your guess to the actual location, the more points you earn. A perfect guess within 1km earns 5,000 points. Each game consists of 5 rounds from different cities around the world, for a maximum possible score of 25,000 points.
Look for text in the photos — even partially visible signs can reveal the language and narrow down the country. Architecture style varies dramatically between regions: European cities have older buildings, while Southeast Asian cities often feature specific tropical vegetation. Vehicle license plates and road markings also differ by country.
Use the rotation arrows to look around the scene from different angles — sometimes a crucial clue is just out of frame. The difficulty badge shows whether the current location is Easy, Medium, or Hard, so you know what to expect.
GeoGuessr became one of the most popular geography games online, but it moved to a paid subscription model. GeoGuessr Lite on GeoMind offers the same Street View guessing experience completely free — no account required, no subscription, no limits on how many games you can play.
